Each year since 1988, we have written an MSPB Update book summarizing what we viewed as the important cases issued by the Merit Systems protection Board and the Federal Circuit Court of Appeals.

One of the classes we teach is an “MSPB Update” for Human Resources and Legal Staff, agency or employee representatives as well as managers and supervisors. The class, described at the Training Courses section of our web page, is an in-depth review of latest developments in MSPB law and procedure and is usually one half day, or a full day. Although the class is designed to be readily understood by non-lawyers, the lawyers attending the class often apply for Continuing Legal Education credit for attending the class. Note that we provide our latest “MSPB Update” book to the class participants as part of the training, at no additional charge, and also provide the book in electronic form so that it can be searched by individuals doing research on MSPB issues.

We are providing our “MSPB Update”, from 2006, which can be downloaded, as an example of the kind of material participants receive in our training, and of the quality of our work. It is provided for your convenience, as a starting point in better understanding an MSPB issue.
